Swimming

Pool Safety | COVID-19

We’ve always taken the cleanliness of our pools and surrounding areas seriously, so now we’re just upping our game and keeping things in and around the pool extra clean.

To help us keep pools safe and clean, we ask swimmers and aquatics users to practice good hygiene outside of the pool. In addition to the recommended COVID-19 prevention measures.

We ask everyone to follow these guidelines:

YMCA Pool Safety Guidelines:
  • Members will be asked to sign an updated waiver.
  • Only 7 lanes will be available during the first two weeks. We will reduce lanes when summer programs begin.
  • One adult per lane, no sharing lanes.
  • Initially, lap lanes will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
    • Lane reservation will be available when summer programs begin (more details to come).
  • If all lanes are occupied, you will be asked wait in designated areas.
  • Do not use the pool if you have been sick in the past two weeks
  • Please do no congregate on the pool deck. Social distancing must be observed at all times.
  • Showers will remain closed. Please shower prior to coming to the Y to swim.
  • Any equipment for swim must be personal, brought from home and taken when exiting the Y. No Y equipment can be used for swimming.
  • At this time, they Y is not allowing guests to use the facility. Lap swim is open to members only
YMCA Pool Hours:
  • Monday - Friday: 6:30 am - 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
  • Sunday: Closed

When we all work together, we do our part in keeping our swim community safe and healthy.

*Norris Pool Announcent: We want to thank our T2 Aquatics and the Community School partners for years of collaborative work serving our swimming community. As needs change, we shift the ways we serve and operate.

Collectively we have agreed, as of Friday, November 22, T2 Aquatics will resume all operations and services at the Norris pool. The Y will continue aquatics programming and all other services, including lap swim, on our main campus.

YMCA members who used the Norris pool are welcomed at the Y’s main campus for lap swim and a variety of free classes included with Y membership.

Thank you for your continued support to the Community School and T2 Aquatics.
