COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

Strengthening the Foundations of Our Community

The Y works in our community to give everyone an opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the nation’s health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.

PROGRAMS & OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteering

Volunteers are vital to the YMCA. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to meet the needs of the people who live in our community.

Scholarships

We believe that no one should be turned away due to the inability to pay. Through the scholarship program, the Y provides assistance to youth, adults and families based on individual needs and circumstances.

Project Graduation

Our local Project Graduation is one of the longest-standing events of its kind in the entire country – a place where new graduates can enjoy a night of fun and celebration with their friends in a safe, drug- and alcohol-free environment.

Home Base Program

Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program, is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds for Post-9/11 Veterans, Service Members and their Families through world-class clinical care, wellness, education and research.

Meals of Hope Mobile Food Pantry

The Y, together with Meals of Hope and their mobile food pantry are helping those in need. The pantry is here every Tuesday afternoon and provides food, fresh produce and canned goods to families. All are welcome!

Positive Parenting Workshops

Join and meet other families from your community in these fun and educational parent workshops. All are welcome!

Y Giving Tree

Our favorite holiday tradition! This program helps provide a memorable holiday for children and families that may need a little extra love & care.
