BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURES
At the Y, we believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success.
We implement Creative Curriculum, which supports learning through play and developmentally appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development. The curriculum identifies skills and concepts important for preschool children to acquire in each area: literacy, math, science, social studies, technology and the arts.
VPK Assessments: Our VPK program uses the Creative Curriculum Individual Assessment and Child Portfolios tools to assess your child's developmental progress annually. The teaching staff and families discuss the results of the assessments and plan for continued growth throughout the year.
The YMCA Early Learning Center provides quality and affordable full-day care and education for your child, ages 3 months to five years. Contact our program director to see classrooms, meet staff and more.
