Facility and Campus Update #3
Dear Valued YMCA Member and Participants,
The safety and well-being of our staff, members, volunteers and guests is always the Y’s top priority. It is our social responsibility to do our part in the face of this unprecedented health emergency.
With new information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Collier County Health Department and Y-USA, we’ve made the decision to close the Greater Naples YMCA today, March 17th, at 8:00 pm. We plan to reopen on Wednesday, April 1st, at 7:00 am, with limited hours and services. This is a precautionary measure while we remain committed to helping keep Collier County healthy.
The Naples YMCA has changed lives for over 53 years. We will continue to do so, regardless of the challenges ahead of us. We are also committed to paying our staff, whom care for you, so we appreciate your continued support of our efforts during this difficult time.
We encourage you to stay active and healthy. Please visit our website for details on Virtual YMCA, a collection of online resources to assist you in keeping you and your family active during the temporary closure.
Check our website often for updates and follow us on social media. We will continue to send updates through email.
We will be okay. The sooner we take actions to stop this virus, the faster we are able to recover and move forward. Be safe and stay well.
Mark Hanke, President & CEO
