Originally born in Haiti, Jackyson moved to Naples at age 12. Jackyson was a 3-sport athlete for Naples High, lettering in soccer, football and track. He played under legendary football coach, Bill Kramer and earned a scholarship to play defensive back at Valley City State University, (VCSU) in North Dakota. In college Jackyson Bazile earned VCSU’s “Top Dog” award for the strongest athlete. He also earned the Valley City State U’s “Top Body Index” award for the combined squat, bench and power clean, divided by body weight.
Besides excelling on the football field and weight room Jackyson Bazile graduated with honors earning a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. Jackyson is not only certified by the American Fitness Association of America (AFAA), he also earned a XPE sport-specific certification through the renowned sport trainer, Tony Villani. XPE sport-specific certification certifies that Jackson Bazile has skill set to assess and prescribe exercises that improve Speed, Agility, and Power.
Jackyson Bazile has worked at the Greater Naples Y since 2006. Jackyson was recently recognized in a National YMCA news journal for his dedication in serving the wellness needs of Collier County’s underprivileged. He specializes in working with athletes and sports conditioning. Jackyson is married to Naples native Nicole (Smith) Bazile and they just welcomed their first child into the world, Tate Jackson Bazile. In their free time the Bazile’s enjoy working out and are active in their church and Jackyson enjoys coaching football whenever he gets the opportunity.
